{"id":9181,"date":"2023-03-27T19:35:08","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T19:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cetcreation.com\/betonbarrette\/offre-demploi-manoeuvre-concasseur\/"},"modified":"2023-05-18T21:08:12","modified_gmt":"2023-05-18T21:08:12","slug":"offre-demploi-manoeuvre-concasseur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/betonbarrette.qc.ca\/en\/offre-demploi-manoeuvre-concasseur\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Offer \u2013 CRUSHING PLANT LABOURER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Supervised by an operations foreman, the crushing plant labourer is responsible for carrying out a variety of jobs as part of the crushing plant operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"p1\">JOB DESCRIPTION \u2013 CRUSHER LABOURER<\/h1>\n<p class=\"p1\">On a daily basis, the plant labourer is responsible for conducting regular inspection patrols of the facilities to detect and prevent breakage. He\/she is also responsible for maintenance of the plant\u2019s common areas.<span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">During production shutdowns, he\/she participates in maintenance activities to support the mechanics. Note that the more experience that the labourer gains in the various positions that he\/she does replacements for, and based on his\/her learning abilities, the more opportunities he\/she will have to grow within his\/her team.<span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">RESPONSIBILITIES &#8211; CRUSHER LABOURER<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">Conduct regular inspection patrols of the facilities to detect and prevent breakage;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Follow the company\u2019s OHS\/environmental standards in this regard; he\/she can act as a confined space entry supervisor, must lockout before entering a piece of equipment, etc.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Do cleaning around\/near when the plant\u2019s materials are spilled, using either rolling equipment or a shovel;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Assist the members of the maintenance team during maintenance work on equipment;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Replace the other team members during breaks;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Learn how to properly operate heavy equipment;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">At the foreman\u2019s request, the operator must do maintenance, replace worn parts, and do other requested tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \u2013 CRUSHER LABOURER<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Knowledge<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">Secondary V training;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Valid Class 5 driver\u2019s license;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">At least 2 years of related work experience;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Have an ASP Construction card (an asset).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">Demonstrate initiative and be observant;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Good physical capacity;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Willing to perform repetitive tasks;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Independent, organized and methodical person;<span class=\"s3\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ability to work as part of a team;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Able to work in a dusty environment;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Have good mechanical knowledge of stationary machinery and welding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">BENEFITS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">Group insurance<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Group RRSP<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">EAP (Employee Assistance Program)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Virtual Medicine Service<span class=\"s3\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">WORK SCHEDULE<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">7\/7 Schedule, DAY\/NIGHT<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">6 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Potential for a pension and accommodation<span class=\"s3\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For more information,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cetcreation.com\/betonbarrette\/nouvelles\/rh@betonbarrette.qc.ca\">contact Myriam Thibault-H\u00e9lie,<\/a>\u00a0HR Director, at 819-825-8112 ext. 312<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>JOIN THE GANG!!!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Supervised by an operations foreman, the crushing plant labourer is responsible for carrying out a variety of jobs as part of the crushing plant operations. \u00a0 JOB DESCRIPTION \u2013 CRUSHER LABOURER On a daily basis, the plant labourer is responsible for conducting regular inspection patrols of the facilities to detect and prevent breakage.
