{"id":9195,"date":"2022-11-04T20:31:20","date_gmt":"2022-11-04T20:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cetcreation.com\/betonbarrette\/offre-demploi-mecanicien-industriel\/"},"modified":"2023-05-18T21:12:09","modified_gmt":"2023-05-18T21:12:09","slug":"offre-demploi-mecanicien-industriel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/betonbarrette.qc.ca\/en\/offre-demploi-mecanicien-industriel\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Offer \u2013 INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-intro\">\n<p class=\"p1\">Supervised by the operations foreman, the mechanic is responsible for detecting and preventing breakage by inspecting crushers and their components such as transmission belts, jaw, cone crusher, screener, etc. He\/she is responsible for doing maintenance and welding work on crushing equipment.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"p1\">RESPONSIBILITIES &#8211; INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\">Perform the daily visual inspection of the crushing plant based on the indications entered into the inspection log books;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Prepare and manufacture the parts required for maintenance work;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Analyze failures and makes suggestions for optimizing the systems;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Perform daily maintenance of crushing plant equipment;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Install crusher parts that are required for safe, high-quality work;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Make improvements likely to increase equipment performance in cooperation with management;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Fill out the reports pertaining to his\/her work;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Keep the workplace clean;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Through his\/her attitude, help create an atmosphere conducive to working as a team;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Perform other duties based on need and as directed by the foreman;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \u2013 INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Knowledge<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Vocational diploma in millwright or industrial mechanics or welding;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">At least 3 years of related work experience;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Knowledge of crushing mechanics;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Have an ASP Construction card (an asset).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Skills<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Show initiative and be observant;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Good physical capacity;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Willing to perform repetitive tasks;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Independent, organized and methodical person;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Ability to work as part of a team;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Able to work in a dusty environment;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Able to work under pressure, organize his\/her work, and exercise judgment;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">BENEFITS<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Group insurance<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Group RRSP<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">EAP (Employee Assistance Program)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Virtual Medicine Service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">WORK SCHEDULE<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">7\/7 schedule, DAY<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">6 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Potential for a pension and accommodation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>For more information,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cetcreation.com\/betonbarrette\/nouvelles\/rh@betonbarrette.qc.ca\">contact Myriam Thibault-H\u00e9lie,<\/a>\u00a0HR Director, at 819-825-8112 ext. 312<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>JOIN THE GANG!!!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Supervised by the operations foreman, the mechanic is responsible for detecting and preventing breakage by inspecting crushers and their components such as transmission belts, jaw, cone crusher, screener, etc. He\/she is responsible for doing maintenance and welding work on crushing equipment.
